Why a Trained Dog?
Adopting or purchasing a trained dog is the perfect way to enjoy your new family member almost immediately in situations that untrained dogs aren't ready for. A trained dog can simply be a crate trained, potty trained dog that doesn't pull on the leash or a dog that's been through the extensive Therapy Dog training but didn't pass one part of the test. When you buy a puppy or adopt an untrained dog you can have considerable time and expense invested before the dog can be loose in your home or behaving in public. Adopting or buying a trained dog from a person, a rescue, or a shelter takes much of the guesswork out of your new family member. While your dog still needs time to adjust to the new environment, a trained dog can be easier to manage and both the dog and the family will enjoy the process more.
